A simple guide to fashionably navigating the four seasons

Workout Wear

Two serious seasons are right around the corner – wedding and bikini season. I love the beach almost as much as I love a romantic wedding, which means this is the time of year that I take my fitness fairly seriously. Gone are the nights of red wine and pizza.
With these seasons fast approaching, I am forgoing the high calorie beverages and welcoming proteins and greens.

I find the best motivation to get myself to the gym is great workout gear. Fashion shouldn't be limited to the streets – I am a firm believer that the gym isn't the place to rock muscle tops and short shorts.

Target is my go-to for great, affordable workout wear. I love the brand they carry, Champion, because of the variety of colours. These are just a few of my favourites that I picked up this past weekend:

Champion Double Dry Absolute Workout Fitted Women's Knee Tights

These pants come in a variety of colours (I have black and hot pink) but side panel and two-way stretch is the selling feature for me. I regularly attend spin classes and love the stretch that these capri's offer.

Champion Balance Capri

I just picked this style up and really like the heather grey and white stripes. When I tried them on in-store they seemed to have great stretch. I'll have to see how they hold up when doing some serious cardio.

I love Lululemon and find the quality to be excellent. I have had the same Wunder Under crops for years, so finally decided to bite the bullet and buy myself a new pair. Since my old Wunder Under's are still in great shape, I decided to try the style with the roll over band. I like yoga, but rarely go, so I am hoping my new crops will be a small incentive to drop in to a hot yoga class.
